Copper Chef Pan Reviews 2017: The Truth About Copper Chef Cookware
Top 5 Copper Chef Pans 2017
If you are one of those people who enjoy cooking, as I am, you know how much joy it brings when you see your family or friends gathered around the table savoring in harmony of tastes and smells of the food you made.
But, the real cook appreciates every minute of preparing food. I love going to the market in search of perfect vegetables and fruit, to the supermarket to find new spices and to mix all ingredients to create the rhapsody of flavors.
The kitchen is my favorite room in the house, so if I don’t prepare meals, I am trying new recipes. After spending so many hours cooking, I find myself credible to give cooking advice. The primary and most important advice I will give you is: no matter how good the recipe is, if you don’t have quality and adequate cookware, you won’t prepare the tasty meal or dessert.
To find the cookware that will suit my needs I’ve talked with many of my friends who are cooking freaks like me, and they were all mentioning one brand – Copper Chef. As I trust them, I’ve decided to order Copper Chef Pan, and I didn’t regret.
Copper Chef non-stick pans have changed my life. Now, I prepare much healthier food, save money (I’m afraid to calculate how much money I have spent on butter and oil), make meals much easier and don’t spend hours in cleaning the pan.
Here, I will share my experience and everything I know about Copper Chef pans with you. Also, I will review five Copper Chef Pans that I own and help you choose the best Copper Chef Pan.
What Are Copper Chef Pans?
As the name implies, the Copper Chef Pan is made of copper which provides extra durability. This means that you won’t need to change the pan every now and then because these pans are made to last. The outer coating of Copper Chef Pan is infused with 100% real copper, and copper is known as one of the best conductors of heat. It heats quickly and evenly.
The materials are tested and approved for usage. They are non-toxic and without any harmful components which make Copper Chef Pan perfectly safe for family use.
The non-stick surface of the pan doesn’t allow food to stick during the cooking as well as easy and simple cleaning. Copper Chef Pans are dishwasher safe, and if you prefer hand washing, you can use abrasive cleaners and wire without concern of damaging the non-stick surface.
Are Copper Chef Pans Safe?
Everyone has doubts when they are starting to use the new product. It is especially important to check the safety of cookware because of the obvious fact – you are preparing food for you and your family in it.
Although it is not recommended to use wires or abrasive cleaners on non-stick pans, this is not the case with the Copper Chef Pan. Also, they are safe to wash in the dishwasher.
The Copper Chef Pan can be used for deep frying, roasting, baking, and steaming food.
Does Copper Chef Cookware Work?
Based on my experience, I must say – yes, it does work. The first thing I have noticed is that the food is fried/baked/cooked evenly. There are no hot spots where the food burns, and the spots where the heat is too low. I was pleasantly surprised when I find out that I could leave the meat or vegetables to cook on high temperatures without any worry of burning.
The non-stick surface works wonders! Before using Copper Chef Pan, I was using butter, fat or oil every time I was frying or baking in the pan. Today, I don’t use any of this. Switching to Copper Chef Pan, I have switched to healthier and fat-free meals.
Also, I use metal and wooden cookware, and I haven’t damaged the non-stick surface.
You can watch here the infomercial that includes testing the pan and opinions of creditable cooks:
If you are wondering why I chose this video, the answer is very simple: I choose this video because it was very helpful to me.
It showed me what meals I could prepare in Copper Chef Pan (honestly, I was very surprised when I saw the variety of the meals) and it also made me experiment a little. I tried to cook some untypical food in my pan to see how it will work. And it worked!
For example, I made popcorns, pizza and even fried ice cream (yes it sounds strange, but it tastes like heaven).
That’s why I hope this video to be as inspiring to you as it was to me.
Bonus: How to Use Copper Chef Pan
Preparing Roast Chicken with Copper Chef Pan
Roast chicken is the perfect choice for family dinner. It is appetizing and easy to prepare.
1 chicken (5 – 6 pounds)
- Black pepper
- 1 large bunch of fresh thyme
- 1 halved lemon
- 1 garlic cut in half
- 2 tablespoons of melted butter
- 1 large sliced yellow onion
- 4 carrots cut into chunks
- 1 bulb of fennel with removed tops and cut into wages
- Olive oil
Remove heart, liver, and gizzard from chicken. Wash the chicken inside and out. Remove any extra fat and feathers and let the outside dry. Salt and pepper inside of the chicken. Stuff inside of the chicken with all the garlic, a bunch of thyme and both halves of lemon. The outside of the chicken brush with melted butter and sprinkle with pepper and salt. Tie the chicken legs with kitchen string and wrap the wings under the chicken body.
In Copper Chef Pan place carrots, onions and fennel. Sprinkle with pepper, salt, olive oil and 20 springs of thyme. Place the chicken on the top.
Roast the chicken in the previously heated oven to 425 degrees F for 1 ½ hours. To be sure that the chicken is properly prepared cut between a leg and thigh. When the juices run crystal clear, the chicken is ready to serve. Place the chicken and vegetables on the plate and cover with aluminum foil for 20 minutes.
Deep frying with Copper Chef Pan at home
Deep frying is a very quick way to prepare food. This way you can make French fries, an ice cream, a turkey, cheese or even chocolate bar.
The basic thing about deep frying is oil temperature. The optimal temperature is about 350 degrees F or 150 degrees C. The thermometer is the most precise kitchen tool when it comes to measuring the heat. You just need to put it in the oil, and it will show you the temperature. If you don’t have the thermometer, use a wooden spoon. The fry basket and deep fry spoon are the perfect choices if you want to be completely protected.
Fill the Copper Chef Pan with oil. How much you need depends on what are you going to fry, but there is one rule to make this part easier. It is called “the rule of the thumb”: the minimum oil is whatever will engulf food halfway.
The next step is to heat the oil. If your recipe doesn’t indicate it, heat oil up to 375-350 degrees F or 160-175 degrees C. There are few ways to check the oil temperature:
- Wooden spoon - put it in oil and if the temperature is right, the oil will boil around it.
- A pinch of flour – if it sizzles the oil is heated. If it burns, the oil is overheated.
- Put the food you want to prepare in the oil – it will sink and pop back up when the oil is ready.
You must make sure that the food you want to deep fry is dry because the process of frying is based on removing the water from the food. Adding water in heated oil can result in a disaster. It can boil over the pot or jump, and you can get hurt.
Place the food into the Copper Chef Pan when the temperature is right. The best way to do this is to use the tongs, but if you don’t have them just place the food slowly and carefully.
Make sure that food has enough space to float around without touching the edges or other part or other ingredients. If the pan is overcrowded, the food won’t fry properly. Also, you need to move the food while it fries to prevent spots of cooler oil from forming.
Let the food fry between 30 seconds and one minute. When the food gets brown or golden color, it is done. To be sure that the food is fried check the insides. You can use a toothpick or a fork for this. If the food is soft, it is done. Also, you can taste it (just make sure that is cooled down) to see if it is properly fried.
Remove the food from the Copper Chef Pan and place it on the plate lined with towels. The towels serve to drain the extra oil from the food.
When finished, don’t toss the oil into the drain. It is not eco-friendly, and it will harm your drains. Pour the oil into the bottle and put it in the fridge. You can use it more than once for frying. Just bear in mind that oil becomes brown and smells bad when it has gone bad.
Don’t forget one thing: if you want to throw the oil wait for it to get cooled and then throw it.

If you are a kitchen lover, then you understand the importance of the non-stick factor featured in your cookware. This especially refers to pans, and there are three kinds of them which are providing the best non-stick features: Copper Chef, Red Copper, and Gotham Steel pans. We’ve talked about the benefits of the Copper Chef pans advertised by Eric Theiss, but now let’s take a look at the differences between the other two adversaries, shall we?
The Gotham Steel pans are made of ceramic and titanium which makes them different from the Copper Chef pans regarding consistency, temperature distribution, and absorption. The Copper Chef pan has proven to have the ability to retain the nonstick coating for a longer period in comparison to Gotham Steel Pan. Also, when it comes to heat threshold, the Copper Chef pan comes as a winner, since it can withstand heat up to 850-degrees in opposite to 500-degrees of Gotham Steel pan.
On the other hand, the Red Copper pans feature the same durability of copper and ceramic giving them better and more consistent non-stick ability versus Gotham Steel pans. The copper is also very durable, non-scratch and it heats very quickly. It seems that the Red Copper pans are somewhat lighter than the other two, yet strong and very versatile as well.
The Red Copper Pan also features non-stick ceramic, only this time infused with the durability of copper. The ceramic will ensure that proven non-stick convenience while the copper will make it very durable and will not scratch and peel off. It heats very quickly giving these type of pans excellent cooking abilities with its equal heat distribution.
All three does not contain any harmful toxins nor chemicals, and the differences are visible regarding heat threshold, in which case Copper Chef pans takes the first place. This is possible due to the Cerami-Tech patent in the ceramic surface which provides denser walls of the pan thus making it more suitable for high temperatures.
The values, features, and characteristics that products from these brands possess imply to original products. If your product doesn’t have the quality of the products we review and describe, you’ve probably got a fake replica from a disingenuous seller.

It will work on gas, electric, ceramic and even on induction cooktops and it features the Cerami-Tech Non-Stick Technology meaning that nothing should stick to this pan. It also features the riveted handles and high heat threshold for ovens up to 800 degrees.
This particular set includes a fry basket, steam rack, glass lid and a recipe book. It is somewhat high priced since it is not actually made of copper and there were some complaints that the pan is smaller than expected. Also, be sure not to use metal utensils for it will scratch the coating off. On the other hand, it has very versatile cooking options with the excellent nonstick coating. Of course, it does not contain harmful chemical and toxins since it is PFOA, PTFE, and PDOS-free which is certainly a must nowadays.
With its ability to withstand high temperatures it is marketed as very durable, hence able to replace many other products. It has a square design with deep sides making it a good roasting pan, wok, rice cooker, baking dish, steamer and general use pot. Also, the stainless steel induction plate will distribute heat more evenly, and its 9.5-inch square shape will hold more food than most of the round pans.

This Copper Chef pan also features the Cerami-Tech Non-Stick coating which again fails to provide what is promised. The food seems to stick very easy after a few uses, unfortunately. After that, you will have a hard time cleaning it, especially if you use metal utensils on it which will certainly do some damage to the non-stick coating.
However, the stainless-steel induction plate seems to work well since the heat distribution looks good and is very rapid. Overall it is a lightweight product with a good size and also good looking, featuring riveted handles thus making it suitable for high heat ovens (up to 850 degrees) and all that with a lifetime warranty.
This Round Chef Pan really does a good job when it comes to even cooking, but it does take some time to heat actually. When it comes to advertised non-stick technology, it does the job well – at least for a month or so, as some customers have reported. After that, you may have a hard time cooking without oil or butter and even cleaning the pan afterward.
It should be noted that this product is sold in two variations, one pan being sold with a lid and the other without a lid. So if you have a spare lid or do not need one, you will have two options to choose from. There is also a two-pan pack variation that you can buy on the market which turns to be cheaper than to buy two pans separately.

This Copper Chef features famous and a must-have Cerami-Tech Non-stick Technology which should ensure that nothing will stick to the pan, allowing you to cook almost anything without using oil, butter or any type of grease. Of course, in most cases this sounds too good to be true; in this case it is unfortunately not so true.
The non-stick feature, as in most Copper Chef pans reviewed, will work great for a while, but for some reason, it will wear off, and your food will start to stick to it. That is why it is crucial to use it properly, on low heat and absolutely without metal utensils. As we said many times before, it will wear of non-stick coating and make the pan unusable.
On the bright side, this Copper Chef pan features the innovative Stainless Steel Induction Technology which will make sure that heat is distributed even and rapidly to all four corner of the pan and that is the strongest point of these pans. Also, it makes it very heat resistant up to incredible 800-degrees.
Also, you can find this Copper Chef Square Fry Pan without the lid which is being sold on the market and is somewhat cheaper if you are not in need of a top to pair it with this pan. Again, bear in mind that you should not use metal utensils with it, and don’t forget to be careful not to scratch it, because it is very susceptible to it.

Items in this set can be used as a roasting pan, rice cooker, a steamer, a baking dish and a stock pot. It is certainly worth a look, so let’s see what the benefits and downsides are.
The 5-layer construction of these products is made of a double polished, non-PFOA and PTFE ceramic coating, an aluminum core, base non-stick ceramic coating, high temp exterior coating and a stainless-steel induction base. That means it does not contain any toxins and it is very heat sensitive. It works well on low heat, and the heat is distributed evenly and rapidly which is, of course, a good thing.
The surfaces in this set have a Cerami-Tech Non-Stick coating which will certainly make frying and cooking simple, fast and easy while at the same time being suitable for anyone who is conscious about their health. However, like with every other Copper Chef product, you should take special care not to wear it off, especially with metal utensils. Overall, this set looks and feels durable and well made. Even the lid is very durable since it can withstand temperatures up to 450 degrees and all this will make cooking come easily to you in any kitchen.
There are just so much variety and so many options to choose from with this set – one of the greatest factors is that the exterior of these products is made from very durable ceramics with the stainless-steel induction base.

I liked how versatile this cookware set is, and there are just so many ways to use it which is all explained on the manufacturer’s website. However, it should be noted that the only way the surface should stay hot while on an induction plate is if you are certain that you’re using the right size induction plate. As for the buttons, they are relatively easy to manage on your own, and when you remove the plate, it will deactivate automatically for your safety.
